• 2018 First Team Academic All-Big 12

CAREER: A four-year member of the program who became the team’s primary long snapper as a senior.

2018: Snapped on all 55 punt attempts... Recorded a tackle on punt coverage against Oklahoma State... A First team Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

2017: Had one successful snap on an extra point against Charlotte.

2016: Redshirted.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Butler Community College under head coaches Troy Morrell and Tim Schaffner... Helped the Grizzlies earn a combined 17-5 record, including a 9-2 mark and a conference championship as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered two years at Derby under head coach Brandon Clark, who lettered three years at K-State (1998, 2000-01)... Helped the Panthers earn a 12-1 record and a state championship as a senior in 2013... Earned second team all-league and honorable mention all-state honors at safety... Also played baseball, helping Derby place fourth in the state championship in 2013.

PERSONAL: David James Tullis was born January 19, 1996, Wichita, Kansas... Son of Allen and Cathy Tullis, both of whom attended K-State... Has two sisters, Sara and Tami... Majoring in secondary education.
