HIGH SCHOOL: Played quarterback at Wiggins under head coach and father Mitch Risner… Named an all-league player on multiple occasions, while he also picked up all-state honors from the Colorado High School Activities Association… Threw for 3,659 yards and 38 touchdowns during his career in addition to rushing for 1,028 yards and 13 scores… Also accumulated 129 career tackles, seven interceptions and one fumble recovery… Played with older brother and current Wildcat offensive lineman Dalton Risner.
PERSONAL: Kaeson Cordell Risner was born November 3, 1997, in Paducah, Kentucky… Son of Mitch and Melinda Risner… Has four siblings, Austin, Taylor, Dalton and Shelden… Taylor was a defensive back at Northern Colorado… Majoring in business administration.
