CAREER: A big, strong defensive tackle that came on toward the final year and a half of his career to become a force in the middle of the front four.

2011 (Click Here for Game-by-Game Stats): Named a First Team All-Big 12 performer by the league’s coaches and also earned votes for the conference’s Defensive Lineman of the Year Award... Earned third team midseason All-America honors by Phil Steele… Wrapped up four ball carriers, including one for a loss, against Eastern Kentucky… Carded three tackles, including a sack, against Kent State… Made three stops at Miami… Registered four stops against Baylor, while he forced Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III into first interception of the year… Carded four tackles, including a half TFL, and forced a fumble at Kansas… Made two stops, including one for a loss, against Oklahoma… Carded four tackles, including a half TFL, against Texas A&M… Totaled three stops at Texas and four against Iowa State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named second team all-district in 2006 and 2007 before earning first-team honors in 2008... Named the defensive MVP at Alief Hastings HS after recording eight sacks in the 2007 season.
