MANHATTAN, Kansas - In the middle of playing six opponents K-State faced in its inaugural season, the Wildcats travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Sunday to tussle with Northern Iowa at 1 p.m., at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.

• Sunday afternoon's match will be available on ESPN3. An audio broadcast of the match will also be available on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and kstatesports.com.
• Northern Iowa won the first meeting between the schools, 2-1, on Sept. 16, 2016, in Manhattan.
• The Wildcats have won two straight matches, both by shutout, and will look for the program's first three-match winning streak.

Omaha Match in Review
• The Wildcats downed Omaha, 2-0, on Wednesday, August 30, in K-State's 2017 home opener.
• K-State registered a goal in each half, as freshman Christina Baxter found the back of the net in the eighth minute, while junior Morgan Mauck recorded the latest goal in program history by scoring at 85:47 of the second half.
• Senior goalkeeper Miranda Larkin tallied her third shutout of the season and the eighth of her K-State career with three saves against the Mavericks.
• Overall, K-State's defense surrendered just eight total shots which were the fewest allowed to a K-State foe.
• For the first time in program history, K-State finished the month of August with a winning record. The Wildcats tallied a 2-1-1 mark in August including three shutouts.

Northern Iowa at a Glance
• Northern Iowa (3-0-0) enters the weekend with a three-match winning streak to open the season. The Panthers will face North Dakota State on Friday followed by the matchup with the Wildcats on Sunday.
• On the sidelines, UNI is led by first year head coach Bruce Erickson. During his 25 seasons as a head coach, Erickson owns a career record of 249-203-42.
• Northern Iowa is led in points by junior forward Brynell Yount and senior forward Sarah Brandt. Yount has seven points with three goals and an assist. Brandt has two goals and two assists.

Larkin Owns K-State Record for Shutouts
• Senior goalkeeper Miranda Larkin has been one of the top keepers in the Big 12 in the first weeks of the season.
• Larkin has pocketed a trio of shutouts in K-State's first three matches of the season, helping the Wildcats to a 2-1-1 record.
• After the first two weekends of the season, Larkin leads the Big 12 in saves per game (5.8), total saves (23) and save percentage (.920). She is tied for the league in shutouts with three and her goals against average ranks second (0.47).
• The product of Rockwall, Texas, currently owns a shutout streak of 221:39 including consecutive shutouts for the first time since Sept. 25 to Oct. 2, 2016.
• Larkin is the K-State career record holder for shutouts with eight and the single season leader with five.
• In the 2016 season, Larkin was responsible for the only five shutouts in program history. She finished with 77 saves and tallied a season-high for shutout minutes at 243:52. She ranked 23rd in the nation in save percentage (.856), 74th in goals against average at 0.835 and 117th in the nation in shutouts.
• Larkin made her first K-State start against SIUE on Aug. 21. This was the first live match action the Rockwall, Texas, native had seen since Nov. 1, 2013, against Kansas in the Big 12 Championship as a member of the Oklahoma Sooners.
• Larkin backstopped the Wildcats with her second career shutout and a then career-high six saves in K-State's 0-0 double overtime draw at SIUE.
• At Oakland on Aug. 26, Larkin made five saves to register her first win at K-State and the second of her collegiate career. It was her first win since Aug. 25, 2013 against Kennesaw State.

Baxter Uses Her Head
• Freshman Christina Baxter introduced herself to K-State fans in the Wildcats' home opener against Omaha.
• The native of Papillion, Nebraska, scored on a header at 7:20 of the first half which finished as the game-winner. It was the first goal scored on a header in program history.
• Baxter, who has started all four games this season, is third on the team in shots with seven and tied for second in shots on goal with three in her debut season.

Mauck in the Middle
• Junior Morgan Mauck added an insurance goal against Omaha, tying her total from the 2016 season, in the fourth game of 2017.
• Mauck collected a deflection inside the 18 yard box and sent a shot into the lower left corner of the net at 85:47 of the game.
• With the goal, Mauck tallied the latest goal in program history surpassing Laramie Hall's goal at Creighton on September 2, 2016 (85:06).
• The product of Overland Park, Kansas, scored her first career K-State goal at Oakland on August 26, 2016, which was the third game of the inaugural season.
• Mauck is tied for third in program history for career goals with two and career points with four.

Wagner Top Point Scorer in Program History
• Junior forward Tatum Wagner continues to hold the program record for career points and increased her total in K-State's home opener against Omaha.
• Wagner recorded the first assist on Christina Baxter's goal, as Wagner sent the cross that found Baxter's head. It was Wagner's first assist of the season.
• The forward from Tulsa, Oklahoma, holds the K-State career record for assists (five), points (11) and is tied for the career record for goals (three).
• During the 2016 season, Wagner registered four straight matches with a point setting a program record.
• Against Northern Iowa on Sept. 16, Wagner became a permanent part of K-State soccer lore, as she recorded the program's first home goal.
• At the end of the 2016 season, Wagner tallied three goals and a team-high four assists (10 points) to lead K-State in both categories. She also led the Wildcats in shots on goal with 12 of her 24 attempts finding their target.
