MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State continues its five-match road trip this weekend, as the Wildcats visit the Rocky Mountain State for two matches. 

• On Thursday, K-State (3-1-0) will face Denver (3-0-0) at 8 p.m. (CDT). This will be K-State's first meeting with Denver and the second match this season against an opponent from the Summit League. 
• On Sunday, the Wildcats will travel north to Fort Collins to tangle with Colorado State (0-1-1) at 1 p.m. This will be the second meeting between the schools, as K-State won the first matchup in 2017, 3-2 in overtime.
• Thursday's match will be streamed on Pioneers All-Access (subscription required). Sunday's match will be available on Mountain West Network (subscription required). A link for the live stats for both matches will be available at kstatesports.com. 

Last Time Out
• For the first time in program history, K-State won both games in a weekend away from home. This was the second time in program history (2018) in which the Wildcats ended the month of August with a 3-1-0 record.  
• The Wildcats routed Austin Peay, 5-0, on Friday and then scored a goal in the 90th minute to defeat North Alabama on Sunday, 1-0.
• Junior Jesse Loren notched her first K-State goal and the third of her collegiate career, heading in a corner kick from 12 yards out in the seventh minute for the game winner at Austin Peay.
• Sophomore Maddie Weichel set the school record for assists in a match with three against Austin Peay. As a team, the Wildcats set the school record for assists in a match with six.
• In the first neutral site match in history of the program, freshman Adah Anderson registered her first career goal with a game-winning tally in the 90th minute against North Alabama.

Helpers for All
• K-State has been helpful on its goals this season, as the Wildcats have registered nine assists on their seven goals. K-State needs one assist to tie its total from the 2020 season (10).
• The Wildcats rank second in the Big 12 and 31st in the nation for assists and ranks second in the league for assists per game (2.25).
• Kansas State set the school record for assists in a match with six at Austin Peay on Aug. 27. Sophomore Maddie Weichel set the school record for assists in a match with three.
• The school record for assists in a season is 19 in 2017, while the assists per game mark stands at 1.06 in 2017.

Firing Range
• K-State has come out firing to open the 2021 season. The Wildcats pace the Big 12 in total shots (92) and ranked second in the league and 16th in the nation for shots per game (23.0).
• The 92 shots are the most in any four match stretch in program history and the first time K-State has attempted 20 or more shots in four consecutive matches. 
• The 25 shots against Omaha were the fourth-highest single-match total in program history and the most since K-State tallied 27 against Arkansas State on Aug. 29, 2019.
• The school record for total shots in a season is 276 set in 2019, while the shots per game mark stands at 15.3 also in 2019.

Better Late than Never for K-State
• In its six seasons of action , K-State has scored 52 of its 82 total goals in the second half of matches.
• This season, K-State has scored four of its seven goals in the second half including a 90th minute game-winner against North Alabama on August 29 by freshman Adah Anderson.
• The Wildcats have scored eight goals in the 85th minute or later. Of those eight goals, two were game-winning goals (Brookelynn Entz, Colorado State, Sept. 17, 2017; Adah Anderson, vs. North Alabama, Aug. 29, 2021).and two were game-tying goals (Aliyah El-Naggar, at Missouri, March 28, 2021; Laramie Hall, at Creighton, Sept. 2, 2016).

K-State Posts Blank Scoresheets
• K-State has tallied three shutouts in the 2021 season, which includes an active school-record shutout streak of 298:55. The Wildcats have tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with three.
• In its six seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 27 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 20-0-7 in games allowing zero goals. The Wildcats registered a school record six shutouts in the 18 matches of the 2018 season.
• Of the 27 shutouts in program history, two goalkeepers own 19 of them. Miranda Larkin set the school record for career shutouts with 10, while former goalkeeper Emma Malsy has the other nine.
• The active goalkeepers on the K-State roster - Rachel Harris, Peyton Pearson and Alaina Werremeyer - have tallied eight shutouts in their K-State careers. Pearson ranks third in school history for career shutouts with four, while Werremeyer owns three shutouts and Harris one.

Winning Weichels
• Maddie and Marisa Weichel have joined forces with the Wildcats for the 2021 season with the duo contributing to K-State wins.
• When a Weichel records at least one point in a match, K-State is 4-0-1.
• Marisa Weichel registered her first K-State goal, tapping in against Omaha on August 22. She then added her team-leading second goal of the season at Austin Peay on August 27. She was the first Wildcat to score in consecutive matches since Brookelynn Entz on Oct. 25 and Oct. 30, 2020.
• Maddie Weichel played a large part in K-State's win at Austin Peay. Weichel set the school record for assists in a match, dishing out three against the Governors on August 27.
• In the 2020 season, Maddie Weichel provided a spark to the K-State starting lineup in 2020, after being inserted into the starting 11 on October 16 against Oklahoma.
• Weichel was in the starting lineup in nine of K-State's last 10 matches and aided the Wildcats to three wins and two draws in the last 10 matches.
• Against Oklahoma on October 16, Weichel assisted on Kyler Goins's goal in the first half.
• In the 2020 season, Weichel was second on the squad with four points and led the team with two assists. She played in all 14 matches with nine starts and registered 995 minutes of action which was the most of any freshman in 2020.
• Against Texas Tech on Nov. 13, 2020, Maddie Weichel scored the insurance goal in the second half for her first career collegiate goal.

El-Naggar Makes Impact
• Junior Aliyah El-Naggar pocketed a big weekend during K-State's two wins to end the month of August.
• The product of Mason, Ohio, tallied a goal at Austin Peay on Aug. 27 and then tallied the assist on the 90th minute game-winner against North Alabama on Aug. 29.
• El-Naggar was a new face to the Wildcat roster in the spring of 2021, but made an instant impression with her new teammates.
• El-Naggar joined the Wildcats from Ohio State and was eligible in the spring due to the Big Ten decision to play its season in the spring.
• The midfielder/defender from Mason, Ohio, made the most of the opportunity with K-State, as she tallied a goal and an assist with three shots including two on goal in just five matches.
• El-Naggar's goal at Missouri on March 28 was the first of her collegiate career as she scored the game-tying tally in a 3-3 decision. She was the second Wildcat in program history to notch a game-tying goal, joining Laramie Hall's game-tying goal at Creighton in 2016.
