MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State completes its 2021 non-conference schedule on Sunday, as the Wildcats host UTRGV at 1 p.m. This is the second match of a three-match home stand for K-State. 

• Sunday's match is Dollar Day as all tickets and select concession items will be available for $1.
• Tickets for Sunday's match can be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS, visiting kstatesports.com/tickets or at the Buser Family Park ticket booth.
• In accordance with University policy, it is required that face coverings be worn in all inside spaces of Buser Family Park, regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking. In all outdoor spaces, face coverings are not required and are at the discretion of each patron.
• Sunday's match will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play) and Oscar Montenegro (analyst) and Katherine Benhardt (sideline) will have the call. 

Last Time Out
• Last week, K-State (4-4-0) ended its five-match road trip and returned to Buser Family Park to begin a three-match home stand with two matches against Big Ten foes.
• The Wildcats fell at Purdue, 2-0, on September 9. K-State finished its five-match road trip with a 3-2-0 record. This was the second-longest road trip in program history, trailing the eight-match road trip K-State embarked upon to begin the program's first season in 2016.  
• K-State returned to Manhattan on September 12 to host Indiana. The Wildcats were unable to pull the upset, as the Hoosiers scored three goals in the first half for a 3-0 win.
• This season, the Wildcats have allowed just two goals in the second half and have held six opponents scoreless in the second half.

Purple Pitch
• K-State has played 41 home matches in its 92-game history, but have felt more comfortable at Buser Family Park. 
• The Wildcats are 14-26-1 at home, including a school record four-match home field winning streak and a five-match unbeaten streak which spanned the end of the 2016 home schedule and the start of the 2017 home slate.
• In the 41 home matches, the Wildcats have been outscored by its opponents, 59-44 (-15).
• Overall in matches played within the Sunflower State, Kansas State owns a record of 15-27-1.

Firing Range
• K-State has come out firing to open the 2021 season. The Wildcats are third in the Big 12 in total shots (133) and ranked third in the league and 63rd in the nation for shots per game (16.63).
• Kansas State recorded a season-high 25 shots against Omaha on Aug. 22, which ranks as the fourth-highest single-match total in program history and the most since K-State tallied 27 against Arkansas State on Aug. 29, 2019.
• The school record for total shots in a season is 276 set in 2019, while the shots per game mark stands at 15.3 also in 2019.

Helpers for All
• K-State has been helpful on its goals this season, as the Wildcats have registered 13 assists on their 12 goals. K-State has just one unassisted goal this season. 
• The 13 assists this season ranks second in program history for assists in a season. The school record for assists in a season is 19 in the 2017 season.
• K-State's 13 assists have come from nine different players, which ranks tied for second in school history for players with an assist in a season. The school record for players with an assist in a season is 10 in the 2017 season.
• The Wildcats rank fourth in the Big 12 and 67th in the nation for assists and ranks fourth in the league for assists per game (1.63).
• Kansas State set the school record for assists in a match with six at Austin Peay on Aug. 27. In the same match, sophomore Maddie Weichel set the school record for assists in a match with three.
• The school record for assists in a season is 19 in 2017, while the assists per game mark stands at 1.06 in 2017.

Better Late Than Never for K-State
• In its six seasons of action , K-State has scored 53 of its 86 total goals in the second half of matches.
• This season, K-State has scored five of its 12 goals in the second half including a 90th minute game-winner against North Alabama on August 29 by freshman Adah Anderson.
• The Wildcats have scored eight goals in the 85th minute or later. Of those eight goals, two were game-winning goals (Brookelynn Entz, Colorado State, Sept. 17, 2017; Adah Anderson, vs. North Alabama, Aug. 29, 2021).and two were game-tying goals (Aliyah El-Naggar, at Missouri, March 28, 2021; Laramie Hall, at Creighton, Sept. 2, 2016).
