MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State soccer begins its eighth season of action and its seventh in Big 12 play in 2023.
• The Wildcats open the season with a two-match road trip along Lake Michigan, as the Wildcats face Green Bay on Thursday at 3 p.m., and a visit to 18th-ranked Northwestern on Sunday at 1 p.m. K-State's game at Green Bay will be available on ESPN+, while Sunday's match at Northwestern will air on B1G+.Â
• This is the first time since the 2019 season that K-State will open a season with a two-match road trip.
Last Time Out
• K-State played a two-match exhibition slate, as the Wildcats registered a win and draw. Â
• The Cats recorded a 4-0 win at Missouri State in a match that was adjusted to four, 25-minute quarters. Goals were scored by Riley Baker, Kiran Singh, Andra Mohler and Adah Anderson.
• In the final preseason tuneup, K-State played eighth-ranked Arkansas to a 1-1 draw in an adjusted four, 25-minute quarter match in Fayetteville.
• Sophomore Khaliana Garrett played in a free kick that was misplayed by Arkansas to square the match.

Dibbini In Eighth Season at K-State
• K-State announced the formation of its women's soccer program on Oct. 12, 2014. With the task of building a program from the ground up, K-State announced on Dec. 26, 2014, that Mike Dibbini would be the first head coach in program history.
• Dibbini is in his eighth season with the Wildcats. He owns a 297-152-46 (.646) career mark, including a 32-74-15 (.326) mark at K-State.Â
• Prior to coming to K-State, Dibbini spent eight seasons at Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA) and two seasons at Cal Poly Pomona (NCAA D-II).
