MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State soccer will split the weekend, as the Wildcats travel on Thursday to face Vanderbilt in Nashville at 7 p.m. K-State returns to Buser Family Park on Sunday to begin a four-match home stand, as the Wildcats host Nebraska at 8 p.m. For tickets, call (800) 221-CATS or visit kstatesports.com/tickets.

• Thursday's match at Vanderbilt will stream on SEC Network+.
• Sunday's match is a Wildcat Weekend, as fans can purchase a general admission ticket for $5 at the Buser Family Park ticket windows when showing their football game ticket from Saturday's game against Southeast Missouri State.
• The match against Nebraska will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Oscar Montenegro (analyst) and Hannah Whetstone (sideline) will be on the call.

Last Time Out
• K-State registered its second straight unbeaten weekend, as the Wildcats captured a 2-0 win over UTSA and worked a 0-0 draw against Creighton. 
• For keeping a pair of clean sheets, sophomore goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week and named the Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week.
• In the 2-0 win over UTSA, the Wildcats scored the second-fastest consecutive goals in program history by scoring 37 seconds apart late in the first half.
• Goals were scored by freshmen Jo Sees and Morgan Struttmann. Sees' goal was the game-winning effort, the first of her career and was scored just 33 seconds after entering the match. Sees also assisted on Struttmann's goal. For her performance, Sees was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week.
• Sheaff collected her second and third shutouts with the Wildcats, pocketing four saves during the weekend. Sheaff owns a shutout streak of 350:17, the longest in program history.

Dibbini In Eighth Season at K-State
• K-State announced the formation of its women's soccer program on Oct. 12, 2014. With the task of building a program from the ground up, K-State announced on Dec. 26, 2014, that Mike Dibbini would be the first head coach in program history.
• Dibbini is in his eighth season with the Wildcats. He owns a 299-152-48 (.647) career mark, including a 34-74-17 (.340) mark at K-State. 
• Prior to coming to K-State, Dibbini spent eight seasons at Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA) and two seasons at Cal Poly Pomona (NCAA D-II).

Game-Winning Goals for All
• Through 125 matches in program history, K-State has registered 34 victories. In those 34 wins, K-State has had 21 different players register a game-winning goal.
• The most recent addition to the game-winner list was freshman Jo Sees. The forward from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, poked in a rebound against UTSA on August 24 in the 40th minute, just 33 seconds after entering the match. Of the 34 game-winning goals, Sees is the 10th freshman to record a game-winner.
• Senior and 2023 captain Aliyah El-Naggar collected her first career game-winning goal with a shot from 24 yards at the right corner of the penalty area.
• El-Naggar joined former teammate Kyler Goins as the only two players in program history with a game-winning goal and a game-tying goal on their K-State career resume. 
• On the current roster, five Wildcats own at least one game-winning goal: Adah Anderson, Riley Baker, El-Naggar, Mohler and Sees.
• The first game-winning goal in program history was awarded to Abby Sieperda in the Wildcats' 6-0 win at Oakland on August 26, 2016.

Working Out of the Corners
• K-State has added extra offensive chances this season by collecting corner kicks.
• Through four matches, K-State has recorded 29 corner kicks (7.25 ckpg). The Wildcats rank tied for fourth in the Big 12 for total corner kicks and corner kicks per game. K-State ranks 32nd in the nation for corner kicks per game.
• Against Green Bay on August 17, the Wildcats registered a 12-0 edge in corner kicks in the opener. K-State scored on its second corner attempt of the season, as Kiran Singh found the head of Jazmin Brown in the 19th minute. Singh found Brown a second time in the 81st minute to seal the win.
• The 12 corner kicks were the second-most for a single-match in program history.
• K-State has held the advantage in corner kicks in three of four matches this season.
• Last season, K-State registered 82 corner kicks (4.32 per game).

K-State Posts Blank Scoresheets
• The Wildcats are on an historic run of holding opponents off the scoreboard to begin the season.
• K-State has registered three consecutive shutouts for the third time in program history and the first time since the 2021 season. In total the Wildcats have held its foes scoreless for a school record 350:17 of game action, which is the final 80:17 of play against Green Bay and the next three matches.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff has been responsible for all three shutouts and joins former Wildcat netminder Emma Malsy as the only Wildcat keepers to record three consecutive shutouts in the first four matches of a season.
• Kansas State recorded its first shutout of the season at 18th-ranked Northwestern. Sheaff made five saves to secure the first shutout for the Wildcats since September 22, 2022, at Iowa State. It was K-State's first road shutout of a ranked opponent.
• In its eight seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 38 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 27-0-11 in games allowing zero goals.
• Of the 38 shutouts in program history, three goalkeepers own 29 of them. Miranda Larkin and Alaina Werremeyer own  the school record for career shutouts with 10, while Malsy owns nine.

Blank Sheaff
• Sophomore goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff has notched a record-setting shutout streak in just four matches as a Wildcat.
• Sheaff hauled in five saves at 18th-ranked Northwestern on August 20 to register the first of three straight shutouts. 
• She owns an active streak and school record of 350:17 of shutout soccer. This is also a career-high, surpassing her previous high of 325:28 last season at Jacksonville.
• The product of Sunshine Coast, Australia, is the second goalkeeper in program history to card a shutout against a ranked opponent, joining Alaina Werremeyer's 2021 shutout of 23rd-ranked Baylor.
• Sheaff is second in the Big 12 for goals against average (0.25) and save percentage (.909).
• Her three shutouts this season leads the Big 12 and ranks second in the nation. She is tied for second in school history for shutouts in a sophomore season.
• Sheaff owns six shutouts in her collegiate career, notching five while a member of Jacksonville last season.
• A season ago, Sheaff led the nation in save percentage (.902) and finished second in the ASUN and 17th in the nation for goals against average (0.60).

We Sees You, Jo
• Freshman forward Jo Sees has gone to the top of K-State's scoring ledger in a limited number of minutes.
• Sees is tied for the team lead in goals with two and leads K-State in points with five. Sees has done her damage as a reserve, playing a total of 90 minutes.
• Her five points are tied for the fourth-most in a freshman season in program history.
• Sees is the sixth K-State freshman in program history to score two or more goals in their debut season.
• Sees, a forward from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, subbed into the August 24 match against UTSA at the 40th minute of the match. Just 33 seconds later, Sees tapped in a rebound to give K-State a 1-0 lead. Just 37 seconds after the goal, Sees assisted on K-State's second goal of the night. Her goal would eventually be the game-winner, the first of her career.
• Against Green Bay in the season-opener on August 17, Sees registered the fourth-latest goal in school history and the second-latest regulation goal with a redirection at 89:47 for her first collegiate goal.
