MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (1-2-0) will host a pair of matches in week three, as the Wildcats welcome in Green Bay (0-1-1) on Thursday at 5 p.m., and then hosts South Dakota (1-1-1) on Sunday at 1 p.m. Sunday's match will be Senior Day, as the Wildcats will honor its five seniors: Adah Anderson, Riley Baker, Kenzi Gillispie, Porter List and Kiran Singh.
• Both matches can be seen live on ESPN+. Thursday's match will be called by Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Oscar Montenegro (analyst) and Sophie Smith (sideline). Sunday's match will be called by Mitch Fortner (play-by-play), Montenegro and Smith.
Last Time Out
• K-State started the road portion of its 2024 schedule in Week 2, as the Wildcats split the weekend's results.
• The Wildcats picked up its first win of the season with a 2-0 decision at Portland State on Aug. 22. Sophomore Ryann Reynolds scored both goals, doing so in just 2:41 of elapsed game time. This was Reynolds' first multi-goal match of her collegiate career.
• Junior goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff collected her first shutout of the 2024 season. Sheaff finished with six saves against the Vikings.
• K-State dropped the final game of the Pacific Northwest trip, falling 2-0 at Gonzaga on Aug. 25.Â

• The Coyotes are led on the sideline by eighth-year head coach Michael Thomas. During his time in Vermillion, Thomas has led the program to a record of 48-44-19.
• Through three matches this season, the Coyotes have had six players register a goal.
• South Dakota is led in scoring by Ashby Johnston with a goal and an assist.
Game-Winning Goals for All
• Through 142 matches in program history, K-State has registered 36 victories. In those 36 wins, K-State has had 23 different players register a game-winning goal.
• The most recent addition to the game-winner list was sophomore Ryann Reynolds, with a free kick rocket at Portland State on August 22.
• Jo Sees added her name to the game-winner ledger earlier this season. The forward from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, poked in a rebound against UTSA on August 24 in the 40th minute, just 33 seconds after entering the match. Of the 34 game-winning goals, Sees is the 10th freshman to record a game-winner.
• On the current roster, five Wildcats own at least one game-winning goal: Adah Anderson, Riley Baker, Jazmin Brown, Andra Mohler, Reynolds and Sees.
• The first game-winning goal in program history was awarded to Abby Sieperda in the Wildcats' 6-0 win at Oakland on August 26, 2016.
K-State Posts Blank Scoresheets
• The Wildcats registered an historic run of holding opponents off the scoreboard early in the 2023 season.
• K-State registered three consecutive shutouts for the third time in program history and the first time since the 2021 season. In total the Wildcats held its foes scoreless for a school record 416:44 of game action, which was the final 80:17 of play against Green Bay and the next three and a half matches, ending in the second half at Vanderbilt on Aug. 31.
• Goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff was responsible for all three shutouts and joined former Wildcat netminder Emma Malsy as the only Wildcat keepers to record three consecutive shutouts in the first four matches of a season.
• K-State recorded its first shutout of the season at 18th-ranked Northwestern. Sheaff made five saves to secure the first shutout for the Wildcats since September 22, 2022, at Iowa State. It was K-State's first road shutout of a ranked opponent.
• In its nine seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 40 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 29-0-11 in games allowing zero goals.
• Of the 40 shutouts in program history, three goalkeepers own 29 of them. Miranda Larkin and Alaina Werremeyer own the school record for career shutouts with 10, while Malsy owns nine.
Reynolds Scores Pair
• Sophomore forward Ryann Reynolds put her name atop the 2024 K-State scoring ledger and registered her first collegiate multi-goal match during K-State's first road match.
• Reynolds, a transfer from Oregon, subbed into the match at Portland State on Aug. 22 at 41:27 and scored on a free kick at 42:54. She scored her second goal at 45:35 of the second half.
• The 2:41 of elapsed match time marked the second-fastest consecuive goals by one player in school history.
• With the two goals, Reynolds tied her goal production from her freshman season at Oregon in 2023. She tied the school record for goals in a match with two and is the seventh player to reach the mark in a match and first since Jazmin Brown scored two at Green Bay on Aug. 17, 2023.
• The Snohomish, Washington, native leads the Wildcats in goals scored (2) and points (4).
Baker the Goal Maker
• Riley Baker continues to contribute to K-State's attack in her senior season.
• In her career, Baker owns three goals, four assists and 10 points. She ranks tied for ninth in school history for career assists and is tied for ninth for career points.
• She has 66 career shots and 29 shots on goal (.439 SOG%). Baker's 29 shots on goal ranks tied for fifth in school history for a career.
• Baker opened her 2024 scoring ledger with an assist at Portland State on Aug. 22. She has recorded at least one assist in three of four seasons at K-State.
• In the 2023 season, Baker established a career season-high for assists (2).
• The forward from Flower Mound, Texas, led the Wildcats in total shots (33) and shots on goal (12). She established new career-highs for shots and shots on goal in a season.
• In the 2022 season, Baker established new career season-highs for matches played (17), goals (2) and points (4).
Blank Sheaff
• Junior goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff added another shutout to her career ledger during K-State's first road trip.
• At Portland State on Aug. 22, Sheaff made six saves to record her first shutout of 2024.
• Sheaff owns 10 shutouts in her collegiate career, notching five apiece at K-State and Jacksonville. She ranks tied for fourth in school history for career shutouts.
• At Gonzaga
• The product of Sunshine Coast, Australia, has 10 matches at K-State with five or more saves. Sheaff has 99 saves in her K-State career and would become the fourth goalkeeper in program history with 100 or more career saves.
• For the season, Sheaff has tallied 17 saves and ranks second in the Big 12 for total saves and saves per game (5.67).
• In the 2023 season Sheaff finished her first season in the Little Apple by playing in and starting all 18 matches. Her total minutes in frame (1,590:29) ranked fourth in school history for a single season.
• She faced the second most shots in a single season (291) in program history and the most by a K-State keeper since 2017.
• Sheaff carded the fourth-best goals against average in a single season in school history (1.30). Her 82 saves were also the fourth most in a single season.
• Sheaff was second in the Big 12 and ranked 71st in the nation for total saves (82) and was second in the league for saves per game (4.56).
• She was second in school history for shutouts in a sophomore season (4).
• At BYU on October 10, Sheaff recorded a career-high 12 saves. Her 12 saves were the most in a match this season by any goalkeeper in the Big 12. She tied for the second-most saves in a match in program history and were the most since Alaina Werremeyer set the school record with 13 against Baylor on October 10, 2021.Â
• Early in the 2023 season, Sheaff carded a career-best streak and school record of 416:44 of shutout soccer. This surpassed her previous high of 325:28 last season at Jacksonville.
• She hauled in five saves at 18th-ranked Northwestern on August 20 to register the first of three straight shutouts.
