FROM THE HEAD COACH
K-State Head Coach Mike Dibbini

On today's effort …
"I thought we had a great performance tonight, and it was going to come down to who was going to execute their chance. And they did. I thought we had, good opportunities. It just didn't bounce our way. But overall performance defensively, I thought we did a really good job. Offensively. We had created some good chances, but we just couldn't execute."

On converting the high shot count into goals…
"Just keep going. We just got to keep going. I think we're creating a lot more chances we ever have. We just got to keep going and stay consistent doing it."

On the consistent effort wave after wave…
"Our depth came in handy today, helping us and allowing us to stay on our front foot, if we continue to do those little things, the depth is going to be critical down the stretch."

UP NEXT
K-State returns to the road for a two-match swing along the Ohio River, as the Wildcats face West Virginia on Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m., and challenge Cincinnati on Sunday, September 22, at 12 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
