MANHATTAN, Kansas - With three regular season matches remaining, K-State (7-5-3, 2-4-2 Big 12) will make its final road trip of its Big 12 schedule this weekend, as the Wildcats visit Houston (7-3-5, 2-3-3) on Thursday at 7 p.m., and then heads to the northwest portion of the state to face (5) Texas Tech (12-1-2, 6-0-2) on Sunday at 1 p.m.
• With a win or draw in any of the final three matches of the season, K-State would secure the first winning season in program history.
• Both matches can be seen live on ESPN+, as Matt Petersen (play-by-play), Brooke Kirchhofer (analyst) and Vicente Garcia (sideline) will have the call at Houston. Geoff Haxton (play-by-play) will have the call at Texas Tech.
Last Time Out
• The Wildcats carded split results in its first home weekend since the end of September. K-State captured a 2-0 win over Cincinnati on Thursday and were narrowly edged in its upset bid of 24th-ranked West Virginia on Sunday, 3-2.
• With the victory over Cincinnati, K-State reached an unbeaten streak of three games and set the school records for wins in a season and home wins in a season (4).
• The Wildcats saw senior midfielder Jayce Woodward register the game-winning goal and a career-high three-point night by adding an assist on Andra Mohler's insurance goal.
• Defensively, K-State held the Bearcats without a shot attempt in the second half.
