K-State’s primary midweek starter for the entire season, Wiley was 3-2 with a 5.97 ERA (23er, 43.2ip), 33 strikeouts and 11 walks in 15 games (7 starts) … As a starter, the right-hander was 3-1 with a 4.32 ERA (12er, 25.0ip), 23 strikeouts, 6 walks and a .281 batting average against … His 7 starts were the most by a K-State freshman since 2014 (Nate Griep, 10) … His K:BB ratio (3.83) was second best among K-State starting pitchers … First 3 appearances were out of the bullpen, but in his first career start on March 9 vs. Creighton, he allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and a walk in 2 innings in a no-decision … In his next start, on March 16 vs. Stephen F.
