MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State (4-7-2, 0-4-0 Big 12) will conclude its 2018 home schedule this weekend, as the Wildcats host Texas Tech on Friday at 6 p.m., and TCU on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
• Both matches will be available on ESPN3. The matches will also be broadcast on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and free at kstatesports.com.
• K-State will look to snap a five-match home losing streak and secure its first win against a Big 12 opponent at the K-State Soccer Complex.
Ground Breaking for Buser Family Park
• At halftime of Friday's match, Kansas State Athletics and John and Ann Buser will break ground for the new Buser Family Park, which will be the name of the new 1,400 chairback seat stadium beginning in 2019.
• Included beneath the seating will be locker rooms for K-State soccer and visiting teams, a team lounge for K-State soccer, sports medicine, strength and conditioning spaces, offices for the coaching staff, a team theater for meetings and equipment storages spaces.
K-State to Honor Six Seniors
• Before Sunday's match, Kansas State will honor its six seniors: Morgan Egan, Krista Haddock, Megan Kalkofen, Morgan Mauck, Haley Sutter and Tatum Wagner.
• All six players have been with the Wildcats since the first season in 2016, while Haddock and Sutter each took a redshirt in 2015 as they came to K-State before the Wildcats started competition.
• As a group in their careers, they have contributed 14 career goals and 12 career assists with the Wildcats.
Weekend in Review
• Kansas State suffered its first loss to Sunflower State rival Kansas, as the Jayhawks picked up a 2-0 decision on Friday, October 5, at the K-State Soccer Complex.
• The Wildcats have lost nine straight Big 12 matches. Kansas State has yet to win a Big 12 match at home (0-7-0).
• K-State has been held without a goal for 273:28 of match action, as the Wildcats scored in the 87th minute against Oklahoma State on September 21.
Attendance Remains High for K-State
• K-State continues to be among the top programs in the nation in attendance in its three seasons of action.
• In eight home matches in 2018, Kansas State ranks 14th in the nation in average attendance (1,162) and 10th in total attendance (9,292).
• In seven home matches in the 2017 season, Kansas State ranked sixth in the nation in average attendance (1,688) and 11th in total attendance (13,505). The Wildcats led the Big 12 in average attendance and were second in total attendance.
• Excitement was high in the program's inaugural four-match home schedule in 2016.
• K-State averaged 2,265 fans in the four matches which ranked fourth in the nation for average attendance. The Wildcats ranked fifth in the nation for percent of capacity filled (107.85 percent) of the capacity of the K-State Soccer Complex (2,100).
• In the inaugural home opener, on September 16 against Northern Iowa, K-State set its program-high with 2,403 fans coming through the turnstiles.
• The 2,403 fans rank among Big 12 members' largest home crowds in their history, as it ranks as the seventh-highest total among the schools.
• In its history, Kansas State has hosted seven crowds of 2,000 or more fans at the K-State Soccer Complex.

• Kansas State has played just 20 home matches in its 47-game history, but have felt more comfortable at the K-State Soccer Complex.
• The Wildcats are 8-11-1 at home, including a school record four-match home field winning streak and a five-match unbeaten streak which spanned the end of the 2016 home schedule and the start of the 2017 home slate.
• In the 20 home matches, the Wildcats have outscored opponents, 26-24 (+2).
