MANHATTAN, Kansas -Â Kansas State (2-0-0) will conclude its first three-match home stand to begin a season on Thursday night at 7 p.m., as the Wildcats host Drake at the K-State Soccer Complex.

Weekend in Review
• For the first time in program history, Kansas State finished the opening weekend with a perfect 2-0-0 record.
• The Wildcats secured the first win in a season-opener on Friday, August 17, against Saint Louis with a 1-0 decision. Senior midfielder Morgan Mauck notched the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute. Mauck's goal was the first ever goal scored by a K-State player in their senior season. It was also Mauck's second career game-winning goal as a member of the Wildcats, tying her for the career school record.
• To conclude the weekend, K-State fought through heavy rain to register the second shut out of the weekend with a 4-0 victory over Oakland on Sunday, August 19. Against the Golden Grizzlies, K-State saw four different players score a goal as freshman forward Chloe Fisher (32') opened the scoring and was credited with the game-winner for her first half tally. Fisher, a product of Warrington, England, is the first K-State freshman to be credited with a game-winning goal in the first two matches of her Wildcat career.
• The downpour of goals came in the second half as sophomore forward Hannah Davis (53'), junior forward Katie Cramer (61') and sophomore forward Christina Baxter (76').
• K-State redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Emma Malsy pocketed both shut out wins in her first career starts with the Wildcats. She became the first Kansas State goalkeeper to pocket consecutive shut outs in the opening weekend.
• Overall, the five goals in the two matches over the weekend were more than K-State scored in the entirety of the month of August in the 2017 season (3) and just two short of the number of goals from August of 2016 (7).
• Defensively, Kansas State did not allow shot on goal for the final 45 minutes against Saint Louis and the first 45 minutes against Oakland. In the last 135 minutes of action for the weekend, K-State surrendered just two shots on goal.

• Malsy tallied her second shut out of the weekend with a pair of saves in the second half against Oakland on August 19.
• The product of Westminster, California, is the first goalkeeper in program history to register a pair of shut outs in the opening weekend of the season.
• Malsy owns a career collegiate record of 5-4-1 and has four career shutouts.
Mauck in the Middle

• For her career, Mauck is tied for second in program history for career goals with four and ranks sixth in career points with nine. She holds the school records for goals by a senior (one), total points by a senior (two), goals by a junior (two) and total points by a junior (five).
• When combined with her one season at Middle Tennessee State in 2015, Mauck has scored eight career collegiate goals.
• In the 2017 season, Mauck tied for second on the team in goals (two) and tied for third in points (five).
