MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State (3-1-1) will play four of its next six matches at the K-State Soccer Complex, as the Wildcats host UMKC on Friday night at 6 p.m. K-State ends the weekend at Indiana with a Sunday first kick at 1 p.m.
• Friday's match is part of a Wildcat Weekend in Manhattan. Fans with a ticket to the K-State/Mississippi State football game can purchase a ticket to the match for only $3. The match will also be K-State's first Cats 4 Cans event of 2018, as fans that donate a canned food item can purchase a ticket to the match for only $3.
• Friday's match will be available on K-StateHD.TV and Facebook Live. Sunday's match will be broadcast on Big Ten Network Plus.
• Both matches will be broadcast on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and for free at kstatesports.com.
• Sunday's match against the Hoosiers will be K-State's first against a team from the Big Ten Conference.
Weekend in Review
• Kansas State traveled to northern California for its first two-match road trip of the season. The Wildcats finished with an 0-1-1 mark.
• K-State dropped a 2-0 decision at ninth-ranked Santa Clara on Thursday, Aug. 30. The loss ended K-State's three-match winning streak and snapped K-State's consecutive matches with a goal streak at five.
• Kansas State was the last team in the Big 12 to concede a goal this season.
• K-State recovered to register a 0-0 draw at San Jose State on Sunday, Sept. 2. It was K-State's first 0-0 draw since the season-opener at Oregon State in 2017. The draw also ended a three-match road losing streak.
• Redshirt sophomore Emma Malsy recorded 13 saves in the two matches, including a career-high seven at Santa Clara.
