MANHATTAN, Kansas -  As the calendar rolls into October, K-State will play four of its next five matches on the road. The Wildcats will travel to the state of Oklahoma to face Oklahoma on Thursday night at 7 p.m., and (25) Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

• Both matches will be broadcast on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and for free at kstatesports.com. Thursday's match will be available on Sooner Sports TV (subscription required). Sunday's match will be streamed on ESPN+.
• The Wildcats will look for their first road win of the 2019 season and snap a six-match Big 12 road skid.

Weekend in Review
• K-State opened Big 12 play against the preseason number two (Baylor) and preseason number three (Texas) teams in the 2019 preseason coaches poll.
• In the Big 12 opener on Thursday, September 26, K-State took the defending league champions, Baylor, to double-overtime. The Bears secured the win with a goal in the 103rd minute from a header off a corner kick. The goal was the latest goal K-State has allowed in the brief four-year history of the program.
• Redshirt sophomore Rachel Harris pocketed a school record and Big 12-high for 2019 with 12 saves against Baylor. The 12 saves were also a career-high for Harris.
• In the second game of the weekend, K-State took Texas to the brink of overtime but the Longhorns scored in the 87th minute for the win.
• Harris pocketed eight saves against the Longhorns.

Fresh Faces Seeing Minutes
• Kansas State has had three freshmen make a significant mark in the lineup for the Wildcats this season.
• Redshirt freshman Bailey Nemechek, and freshmen Silke Bonnen and Shae Turner have each played over 675 minutes and have combined for 28 starts and 32 appearances this season.
• Bonnen, playing among K-State's backline, leads all of K-State's freshmen and is second on the team in minutes played with 941. Bonnen has appeared in all 11 matches with 10 starts while carding one assist and three total shots with two on goal.
• Turner has played in and started 10 matches this season and is second among K-State's freshmen and fourth overall with 832 minutes played.
• Nemechek leads K-State in Big 12 action with three shots on goal. She is third among K-State's freshmen in minutes played with 683 and is tied for seventh overall.
• The product of Fort Collins, Colorado, has been efficient in her shooting, as she has attempted 11 total shots with six on target for a shots on goal percentage of .545, which leads all K-State players with 10 or more attempts this season.
• Of K-State's 10 total freshmen, nine have seen the field this season in at least two or more matches.

Harris Notches School Record
• Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Harris opened Big 12 action in frame for K-State and set a record in the process.
• Against Baylor on September 26, Harris tallied a school record and career-high 12 saves. The 12 saves are the most by a goalkeeper in the Big 12 this season and also set the Buser Family Park record for saves by a K-State goalkeeper.
• For the season, Harris is second in the Big 12 in save percentage at .804 and leads the league in saves per game at 6.17 per match.
• On September 15, Harris became the third goalkeeper in program history to pocket a shutout with a 2-0 win against Tulsa.
• The product of Huntington Beach, California, made four saves in the shutout. This was her first shutout since August 24, 2018, against Omaha as a member of the Arkansas soccer team.
• Harris owns four career shutouts with three coming as a Razorback.
• She also contributed to the K-State offense in the win, as she was credited with an assist on Laramie Hall's goal in the 58th minute. Harris is the first goalkeeper in program history to be credited with an assist.
