MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State will play a pair of matches against ranked opponents at Buser Family Park this weekend, as the Wildcats host (9) West Virginia on Thursday at 7 p.m., and (23) Baylor on Sunday at 1 p.m.
• Thursday's match will be Pride Night and will be K-State Soccer's Diversity and Inclusion match. Sunday's match will be Junior Wildcat Day.
• Tickets for both matches can be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS, visiting kstatesports.com/tickets or at the Buser Family Park ticket windows.
• In accordance with University policy, it is required that face coverings be worn in all inside spaces of Buser Family Park, regardless of vaccination status, unless actively eating or drinking. In all outdoor spaces, face coverings are not required and are at the discretion of each patron.
• Both matches will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Thursday's broadcast team will feature Brian Smoller (play-by-play), former Wildcat Maddie Souder (color analyst) and Kelsey Bigelow (sideline). Sunday's broadcast team will be Smoller, Oscar Montenegro (color analyst) and Bigelow.

• Sophomore goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer notched her fifth career win and her third career win in Big 12 play with her career-best performance at Kansas on Sept. 30.
• Werremeyer made a career-high 10 saves to earn her third win of the 2021 season. In her nine starts this season, Werremeyer owns a 1.65 goals against average and a save percentage of .737 with 42 saves.
• The product of Blue Springs, Missouri, leads the Big 12 for saves per game (4.67) and ranks fourth in the league for total saves (42).

• Redshirt sophomore Caylee Thornhill made her first start of the 2021 season memorable, as she scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Kansas on Sept. 30.
• Thornhill played a personal season-high of 66 minutes and tallied three shots with one on goal. Thornhill scored the game-winner in the 99th minute (98:21). This was the latest goal in school history and the second overtime game-winner in program history.
• After two seasons halted by injury, Thornhill has recorded her first two career goals in 2021 with 13 shots including four on goal in a career-high 12 matches played.

• Junior Kyler Goins has achieved career season-highs for goals, points, shots and shots on goal in her second season with K-State.
