MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State continues its five-match spring non-conference schedule on Saturday, March 13, at 12 p.m., as the Wildcats face (rv/23) Kansas in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown in Lawrence at Rock Chalk Park.

• Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kansas State concluded a Big 12-only fall schedule with a record of 3-6-0. The Wildcats set the school record for Big 12 wins and achieved its highest final standing in the league with a seventh-place finish.
• K-State has been led by 2020 All-Big 12 First Team selection senior midfielder Brookelynn Entz with 10 points (five goals). Sophomores Kyler Goins and Shae Turner and freshman Maddie Weichel tied for second in points with three (one goal and one assist).

Last Time Out
• K-State played its first non-conference match against Kansas and its first official match in the month of March, as the Jayhawks secured a 2-0 win at Buser Family Park on March 6.
• Both Kansas goals came in the second half.
• Freshman goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer registered two saves.
• Newcomer Kursten von Klahr made her first collegiate start and tallied two shots with one on goal.

Two Different Seasons in 2020
• Playing a Big 12 only schedule in the fall of 2020, K-State had an incredible second half to its record-setting season.
• The Wildcats opened the season with an 0-4-0 record in its first four matches. During the four-match skid, K-State featured a goal differential of -14 (1-15) including a 7-0 loss at Texas on October 9.
• After the loss to the Longhorns, K-State would register a 3-2-0 record in the final five matches. The Wildcats tallied a goal differential of +2 (9-7) in the final five matches.
• The Wildcats won their final two matches of the season and dropped an overtime match to eventual Big 12 champion, TCU, on October 25. 

The Road Mostly Traveled
• Since the start of the program in 2016, K-State has played 43 matches away from Manhattan.
• K-State set a program best three-match road unbeaten streak (1-0-2) in the 2018 season. The stretch started with a 0-0 draw at San Jose State on September 2, continued with a second 0-0 draw at Indiana and the Wildcats picked up their first win in the stretch with a 3-0 decision at Tulsa on Sept. 16.
• Overall, the Wildcats are 7-29-7 in road matches in their history.
• In the 43 road matches, the Wildcats have been outscored by its opponents, 76-29 (-47).
• In 2017, K-State tallied a program best three road wins.

Wildcats Set Goals Mark in 2020
• Despite playing a conference-only schedule in the fall of 2020, K-State set a school record for goals scored.
• With two goals against Texas Tech on November 16, the Wildcats reached double digits for goals scored in a league season with 10. K-State also set the school record for goals scored per game in Big 12 play (1.11 gpg).
• In 2020, K-State ranked tied for fifth in the Big 12 for goals scored and goals per game.
• During its four seasons of Big 12 action, K-State has scored 24 goals.
