Top Finishes Shut Down Final Day of John Jacobs Invitational

Apr 23, 2022 | Track & Field

NORMAN, Okla. – The Kansas State track and field team collected multiple top finishes at the John Jacobs Invitational at the John Jacobs Track and Field Complex on Saturday (April 23).

"The meet was competitive overall," stated Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Cliff Rovelto. "Good teams and virtually every event had solid competition. It was very windy all day, so not ideal conditions for oval events. What I always look for is how athletes compete. We can win and not compete well, and we can be fourth and have done a great job competing. Each week is different circumstances in that way. We have to continue to make progress over the next couple of weeks in preparation for conference."
