MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (2-4-3, 0-0-1 Big 12) begins a three-match road trip this weekend, as the Wildcats play two matches in the state of Oklahoma.

• Kansas State's first match of the weekend will be on Thursday night at 7 p.m., as the Wildcats face Oklahoma (4-4-1, 0-0-1). Thursday's match will be on Sooner Vision on ESPN+, with Chad McKee (play-by-play) and Marissa McMahand (analyst) on the call.
• The Wildcats end the weekend at Oklahoma State on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. Sunday's match will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
• K-State came back to register a draw in its Big 12 opener against CincinMarnati, 1-1, on Thursday, September 14.
• After a scoreless first half, Cincinnati took a 1-0 lead in the 64th minute.
• With a foul called roughly 35 yards from the Bearcats' frame, fifth-year defender Aliyah El-Naggar stepped forward and thundered a free kick goal off the right post to square the match at 1-1 in the 79th minute.
• El-Naggar became the first Wildcat with two or more career game-tying goals. She has set a career-high for goals in a season with two.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff registered six saves. Sheaff has four matches this season with five or more saves.
• This was the fourth time in program history in which K-State has wrangled a draw after the opponent scores first.
• K-State has recorded a draw in two straight Big 12 openers.

Better Late than Never for K-State
• In its eighth season of action, K-State has scored 68 of its 118 total goals in the second half or later of matches.
• During the 2023 season, K-State has scored four of its eight goals in the second half.
• Riley Baker tallied the latest regulation game-winning goal in program history, as she scored on a penalty kick at 89:42 of the second half at Baylor on Oct. 9, 2022. It was the first game-winning goal of Baker's career.
• Freshman Jo Sees added her name to the list in the 2023 season-opener. Sees registered the fourth-latest goal in school history and the second-latest regulation goal with her tap in at 89:47 against Green Bay.
• The Wildcats have scored 12 goals in the 85th minute or later in the history of the program. Of those 12 goals, four were game-winning goals (Brookelynn Entz, Colorado State, Sept. 17, 2017 [ot]; Adah Anderson, vs. North Alabama, Aug. 29, 2021; Caylee Thornhill, at Kansas, Sept. 30, 2021 [ot]; Riley Baker, at Baylor, Oct. 9, 2022) and two were game-tying goals (Aliyah El-Naggar, at Missouri, March 28, 2021; Laramie Hall, at Creighton, Sept. 2, 2016).

Oh Captain, Our Captain
• Fifth-year defender and team co-captain Aliyah El-Naggar found an opportune moment for her first career game-winning goal and her second career game-tying goal.
• At Green Bay on August 17, El-Naggar finished a chance in the 73rd minute to break a 1-1 tie and send K-State to its first win of the season.
• Against Cincinnati in the Big 12 opener on September 14, El-Naggar banked in a game-tying goal from roughly 35 yards on a free kick in the 79th minute.
• With the goal against the Bearcats, El-Naggar set the school record for career game-tying goals with her second. She is the second player in program history (Kyler Goins) with a game-winning goal and a game-tying goal on their scoring ledger.
• The Mason, Ohio, native, owns four goals in her four seasons at K-State. She ranks tied for seventh in school history for career goals scored. She is tied for ninth in school history for career points with 10.

Jazmin on the Back Line
• Centerback Jazmin Brown continues to be a staple along the K-State backline.
• This season, Brown is the only Wildcat to play every minute of every match this season (810 minutes).
• In the last two seasons, Brown has played a total of 2285:54 minutes which is 90.1 percent (2520:00) of the available minutes in the last 28 matches K-State has played.
• Among field players in the 2022 season, Brown was fourth on the team and first among freshmen in minutes played with 1,476 during her 19 matches played and 18 starts.
• Among freshmen in program history, Brown was the ninth freshman to surpass the 1,000 minutes played mark and set the school record for minutes played in their debut season.

Blank Sheaff
• Sophomore goalkeeper Murphy Sheaff notched a record-setting shutout streak early in her brief time as a Wildcat.
• Sheaff carded a career-best streak and school record of 416:44 of shutout soccer. This surpassed her previous high of 325:28 last season at Jacksonville.
• She hauled in five saves at 18th-ranked Northwestern on August 20 to register the first of three straight shutouts. 
• The product of Sunshine Coast, Australia, is the second goalkeeper in program history to card a shutout against a ranked opponent, joining Alaina Werremeyer's 2021 shutout of 23rd-ranked Baylor.
• Her three shutouts this season are tied for third in the Big 12. She is tied for second in school history for shutouts in a sophomore season.
• She has four matches with five or more saves, including two matches with a season-high seven saves. Sheaff ranks third in the Big 12 in save percentage (.826) and leads the league in saves per game (4.22).
• Sheaff owns eight shutouts in her collegiate career, notching five while a member of Jacksonville last season.
• A season ago, Sheaff led the nation in save percentage (.902) and finished second in the ASUN and 17th in the nation for goals against average (0.60).
