Savannah HS
A four-year letterwinner for the Savages under head coach Nick Kemerling... Was dominant his senior year, compiling a 10-0 record and a 0.13 ERA - both of which were school records - as he was named a First Team Louisville Slugger High School All-American by Collegiate Baseball, Prep Baseball Report Pitcher of the Year in Missouri and the Gatorade Missouri Baseball Player of the Year... Tallied 135 strikeouts and just six walks in 60 innings as Savannah finished third in the state championship... Topped off prep career by totaling 18 strikeouts in the third-place game, a Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Championship record... A four-time all-conference, all-district and all-state selection... Named the St. Joseph News-Press Player of the Year as both a junior and senior... Was selected to play in the 2011 Under Armour All-American game... Hit .391 with 25 RBI... Also excelled in football and basketball as he was an all-state punter and all-district quarterback on the gridiron, while he was three-time all-conference performer on the court.
