One of K-State's most-used relievers that earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Freshman team...Went 1-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 23 relief outings, but tallied six saves, the most ever by a Wildcat freshman...Finished the season fifth in the Big 12 in saves and ninth in K-State history for both a season and a career...Allowed just three of 21 inherited runners to score...Earned his first-career save against Hartford on March 10, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings...Also worked a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts against No. 21 Texas to pick up his first Big 12 save...Set a season high with three strikeouts at Missouri on April 21...Worked a career-long three scoreless innings with a strikeout against Nebraska Omaha on May 6...Was brilliant against Kansas on May 15, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings with a season-high tying three strikeouts to earn his first-career win...K-State freshman-record-setting sixth save came at Texas Tech on May 17 when he tossed 0.2 scoreless frames with a strikeout.
