Career-highs in hits, runs, triples, RBIs, walks and stolen bases ... Walked 26 times after only drawing 11 walks as a junior in 2014 ... Finished sixth in the Big 12 with a team-best 44 runs scored ... Tied for second on the team with 15 multi-hit games ... Had a multi-hit effort in 5 consecutive games from May 10-20 ... 2014 SUMMER BASEBALL
Played for the Peninsula Oilers of the Alaska Baseball League ... Hit .178 (8-for-45) with a double, a triple, 4 RBIs and 3 stolen bases in 13 games ... Also walked 6 times and struck out 3 times.
JUNIOR (2014)
Hit .261 (30-for-115) with 7 doubles, 16 RBIs, 11 walks, and 6 stolen bases in 43 games ... Of his 43 games, he started 32 games ... Started at second base, third base, center field, left field, and designated hitter ... Went 5-for-6 (.833) as a pinch-hitter ... One of the toughest people to strike out in the nation, ranking third-best in Division I by averaging one strikeout every 29.0 at-bats ... Was the highest ranked Big 12 player in the country in strikeouts per at-bat ... Struck out 4 times in 116 at-bats ... After opening the season 4-for-23 in his first 10 games, he batted .283 (26-for-92) with 6 doubles and 13 RBIs in his final 33 games ... Still had a .333 OBP in his first 10 games despite the .174 batting average ... Had a season-high 9-game hitting streak from March 23-April 6 ... Attended College of Southern Idaho, posting a .356 (142-for-399) batting average with 23 doubles and 38 stolen bases in 116 career games with the Golden Eagles ... In his sophomore season, he was named All-Region 18 First Team shortstop after he hit a team-best .393 (75-for-191) with 10 doubles, 6 triples, 2 home runs and 34 RBI in 58 games ... His 75 hits, 48 runs scored and 6 triples led the team as well ... Also had a .478 OBP and 18 stolen bases ... In freshman season, he was named to the Region 18 Second Team after batting .322 (67-for-208) with 13 doubles, 2 triples, 35 RBI, 20 stolen bases and 52 runs scored in 58 games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Cottonwood High School in Murray, Utah ... Four-year letterwinner in baseball, playing under the direction of Jon Hoover and Jason Crawford ... Holds the school record for most triples (6 in 2011) and stolen bases (16 in 2011) in a single season ... Batted .402 (33-for-82) with 6 doubles, 6 triples, 26 RBI and 33 runs scored in his senior season in 2011 ... Named Class 5A all-state second team in his senior year and all-state honorable mention in 2010 ... Helped Cottonwood win the state championship as a freshman in 2008 ... Finished state runner-up in 2011.
