Made 11 appearances, including 4 starts, in his first season with the Wildcats, going 0-4 with a 7.46 ERA (21er, 25.1ip), 23 strikeouts and 13 walks...First 4 appearances of the year were out of the bullpen before sliding into a weekend starter role for 4 weeks...Allowed 5 runs in 7 1/3 innings over his first 4 games while also striking out 6...In his first career start, he held No. 12 Oklahoma State to one run on 2 hits in 5.0 innings while striking out 4 and walking 2 … Suffered the loss, however, as K-State was held hitless until the ninth inning...All 4 of his starts were in Big 12 play as he went 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA (12er, 14.2ip)...Did not allow a run in back-to-back relief appearances between April 26 and 29...Recorded his first career save on April 26 at Baylor, helping the Wildcats clinch the series finale in their first series win in Waco...Allowed 4 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks in 1.0 inning pitched in his final outing of the season on May 1 vs. Arkansas State...Had a strikeout in each of his 11 appearances, including a season-high 4 in the start at No. 12 Oklahoma State.
