MANHATTAN, Kansas - Kansas State (4-3-2) will open the 2018 Big 12 Conference schedule this weekend, as the Wildcats host reigning Big 12 regular season champion and 15th ranked Oklahoma State on Friday night at 7 p.m., and Oklahoma on Sunday at 1 p.m.
• Friday's match is K-State soccer's first Diversity and Inclusion match. The first 200 fans will receive a free wristband. Fans can purchase a ticket to the match against the Cowgirls for only $1.
• Sunday's match is Family Day and will feature a free postgame youth clinic and team autographs on the field. A $38 Family 4-Pack is available for the match, which includes four general admission tickets and four $10 concessions vouchers. Junior Wildcat members can show their membership card at the concession stand for a $1 candy item.
• Friday's match will be available on ESPN3. Sunday's match will be broadcast on FOX College Sports - Central and K-StateHD.TV. Both matches will be broadcast on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and free at kstatesports.com.
Weekend in Review
• Kansas State split its final regular season non-conference weekend with a home and road match. The Wildcats finished with an 1-1-0 mark.
• K-State dropped a tough 1-0 decision at the K-State Soccer Complex to Missouri State on Friday, Sept. 14. K-State outshot Missouri State, 23-2, but the Bears capitalized on a corner kick in the second half.
• The Wildcats salvaged the weekend with a 3-0 win at Tulsa on Sunday, Sept. 16. It was K-State's first road win of the season. Kansas State is now unbeaten in three straight road matches for the first time in program history.
• The Wildcats received goals from Brookelynn Entz (20'), Maddie Souder (64') and Ashley Zane (72') in the win. The Entz goal ended a 301:37 scoreless stretch for K-State.
• Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Emma Malsy recorded her school record sixth shutout this season.
• This was the first road win since October 6, 2017, at Kansas, ending a five-match winless stretch (0-3-2).

• For the season, Malsy owns six shutouts with a 0.64 goals against average and a .870 save percentage on 40 saves. She is tied for the league lead in shutouts and ranks tied for third in the nation in the category. She is third in saves and saves per match.
• Against Saint Louis on August 17, Malsy made her first start since October 23, 2016, at Oregon, when she was a freshman at Arizona State. She tallied four saves including a pair of clutch efforts in the first half and send K-State to a 1-0 win. It was her first collegiate win since October 6, 2016, against Washington.
• This was the first shutout win for K-State since October 6, 2017, at Kansas.
• Malsy tallied her second shutout of the weekend with a pair of saves in the second half against Oakland on August 19.
• The product of Westminster, California, is the first goalkeeper in program history to register a pair of shutouts in the opening weekend of the season.
