Redshirt Sophomore (2012)
- Enters season tied for ninth in school history in hit-by-pitch with 22
- Played in 50 as a redshirt sophomore, including 25 starts at catcher and 19 as the designated hitter
- Hit .257 with eight doubles, two home runs and 28 RBI, while he did not commit an error in 208 fielding chances
- Finished third on the team with nine multi-RBI games, including three-RBI contests at No. 24 Oklahoma on March 31, vs. Sacred Heart on April 7 and against Baylor on April 15
- Started six of the final nine regular-season games behind the plate, helping the Wildcats earn a 7-2 record and a trip to the Big 12 Championship
- Tied his career high with three hits, including a double, while driving in two runs at San Diego State on Feb. 25... That came on the heels of another two-RBI contest against the Aztecs two days prior
- Was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run and three RBI on March 31 at No. 24 Oklahoma
- Second three-hit game of the season came against No. 5 Baylor on April 15 when he doubled twice

- Finished six points shy of the K-State freshman batting average record...
- Registered a .467 on-base percentage to rank seventh in the Big 12...
- Was hit by 17 pitches, which tied for third in school history...
- Registered nine infield hits...
- Tallied four three-hit games, including one against Kent State on March 13 when he hit his first career home run and drove in three runs...
- Also had a homer and tallied a season high four RBI against Chicago State on April 28...
- Registered two doubles against Duquesne, while he had multi-RBI contests against St. Bonaventure and Minnesota on May 4...
- Went 27-for-54 (.500) with six doubles, a home run and nine RBI over his first 16 starts.
Manhattan HS: A four-year letterwinner for the Indians under head coach Don Hess... Named First Team All-Centennial League and second team all-state as a junior after hitting .526 with 11 doubles, one home run and 32 RBI... Earned Louisville Slugger High School All-American honorable mention honors as a senior, as well as being named Centennial Co-Player of the Year and first team all-state...
