CAREER: One of the top offensive linemen in the country over the past few seasons, who was one of the best linemen in K-State history... A three-year team captain, one of just five in school history... Just the fourth offensive lineman in Big 12 history to earn first team all-conference honors in three-straight seasons... Started 50 of the Wildcats’ 51 games over the past four seasons, including the final three at right tackle... Began his career at center in 2015 – earning Freshman All-America honors – before moving to tackle due to a team need... Also an incredible citizen as he was involved in many charitable projects, most of which was of his own initiative.
2018: Started all 12 games at right tackle en route to First Team All-America honors from Pro Football Focus, ESPN, CBS Sports and Sporting News... Also earned second-team honors from the Walter Camp Foundation, Phil Steele, American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Associated Press and the Football Writers Association of America... Named the 2018 Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year (shared with two other players), just the second Wildcat to earn the accolade, while he was a First Team All-Big 12 performer by the league’s coaches and Associated Press... Also honored for his outstanding work in the community as he is a finalist for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award and was also a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, Wuerffel Trophy and Senior CLASS Award... Also named to the AFCA Good Works Team and was a semifinalist for the Lombardi Award... Led an offensive unit that finished third in the Big 12 by averaging 182.6 rushing yards per game, which included a 184.2-yard average in conference games to rank second... Paved the way for running back Alex Barnes, who was the Big 12 rushing champion with 1,355 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Also picked up First Team All-Big 12 accolades from the league’s coaches and Associated Press... Graded out at a 90.3 mark during the regular season according to Pro Football Focus, including a 98.9 mark on pass blocking efficiency to tie for the fourth highest among FBS tackles... Allowed only three quarterback pressures according to Pro Football Focus, the fewest among 2018 draft-eligible tackles... Led the Wildcats to a tie for third place in school history in rushing yards per carry (4.98), while they finished seventh in program history with 2,584 total rushing yards... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer who was also a member of the AFCA Good Works Team... A member of the preseason watch lists for the Outland Trophy and Wuerffel Trophy.

A preseason candidate for the Rimington Trophy prior to switching to right tackle... A First Team Academic All-Big 12 performer... Voted a team captain for the 2016 season.
2015: A 13-game starter at center who earned First Team Freshman All-America honors from Campus Insiders and second-team honors from Athlon and Scout... Helped K-State rank second nationally in red zone offense (94.5-percent) and 18th in passing yards per completion (14.12)... Also helped the Wildcats rush for 29 touchdowns, which was just one shy of entering the school’s top-10 list... Blocked for six rushing touchdowns against TCU, which was tied for the fourth-most in school history... Picked up Second Team Academic All-Big 12 accolades.

Named one of the Denver Post’s top-25 players in the state during the 2013 season and was an all-state selection by the organization in 2012... Also named an all-state player by Root Sports in 2012 and 2013... Rated the nation’s sixth-best center and the fifth-best player in the state by Rivals, while he was the nation’s seventh-best center according to ESPN... Selected to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl and the U-19 International Bowl between Team USA and Canada Football... Also placed fifth in the state in shot put in 2012 and participated in basketball.
