Hutchinson CC: Played the 2010 and 2011 seasons for the Blue Dragons under head coach Kyle Crookes... Hit .340 (32-for-94) with six doubles, one triple and 21 RBI as a sophomore... Helped Hutchinson finish third at the 2010 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) World Series as the backup catcher to former Wildcat Dan Klein.
Blue Valley HS: Played four seasons for the Tigers under head coaches Larry Hair and Matt Ortman... Helped Blue Valley win a state championship in 2008 and a league championship in 2009...
