HIGH SCHOOL: Letterman in softball (3x) and basketball (3x)...member of Nebraska School Activities Association state runner-up team in softball...part of back-to-back Class 4A district champion squad in basketball (2010-11, 2011-12)...graduated with honors...Award of Academic Excellence recipient...National Honor Society member...participated in marching band and jazz band...volunteered time for Circle Of Friends and various other community service outlets.

I chose K-State because it felt most like home.
How is rowing different than other sports you've been involved in?
There's nowhere to hide in rowing. Your individual effort is constantly being exposed and tested.
What has rowing taught you about yourself?
Rowing has taught me to expect more from myself, that I am capable of more than I realize.
