Athlete Q&A
What does K-State rowing mean to you?
Rowing for K-State positively changed the direction of my life and continually shapes who I am and who I hope to become. This sport has given me incredible opportunities and experiences that I am really thankful for, but most importantly it has given me my family in my coaches and teammates.
What has rowing taught you about yourself?
"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and tougher than you think."
What keeps you coming back to the team each year?
The thing I love about rowing was best put in a quote I once read that stated "rowing is a sport for dreamers--if you put in the work, you can own the dream." That being said, there is always room for improvement, and so to know that you can always get better is an exciting and motivating thing!
