Saw his first career action at Creighton on April 12, allowing a hit and a walk in 0.2 innings... Came back with a scoreless inning against Cal State Bakersfield on April 26 before allowing a run on two hits and a season high two strikeouts against New Orleans on May 13... Suffered the loss against No. 13 Texas A&M in the Big 12 Championship, allowing a run in two innings... Also pitched in the NCAA Fullerton Regional against Stanford, tossing a scoreless inning.
