Junior (2011): Saw time in 43 games with 41 starts, hitting .308 (45-of-146) with 10 doubles, two triples, two home runs and 27 RBI... Finished with 12 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games... Also had 13 two-out RBI... Had a season high five three-hit games and a trio of three-RBI contests... Went 3-for-4 with two RBI at Pacific on Feb. 19... Hit K-State's first home run of the season, a three-run shot against Western Kentucky on Feb. 25... Second home run of the year came at Creighton on April 12... Was 3-for-3 with two RBI against Cal State Bakersfield on May 3... Recorded three two-hit games in the KU series with five RBI, including three runs driven in in the series finale on May 22... Committed just three errors in 269 fielding chances.
Cochise College: Played two seasons for the Apaches under head coach Todd Inglehart... A First Team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and a First Team NJCAA All-Region honoree in 2010 as he led Cochise to the NJCAA Region I playoffs as the No. 4 seed... Hit .378 (76-for-201) with 16 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 67 RBI as a sophomore... Registered a .301 batting average (37-for-123) with 14 doubles, one home run and 21 RBI as a freshman... A 2010 NJCAA All-Star and represented the United States at the 2010 Honkbal Tournament in the Netherlands.
Del Norte HS: Lettered for the Knights under head coach Matt Aragon... Named the 2008 New Mexico Gatorade Player of the Year and earned first team all-district, all-metro and all-state honors... Led the state with a .589 average and 15 home runs as a senior... Ranks third in New Mexico history with 26 career home runs... Also led the state in hitting as a junior in 2007 with a .586 average, earning first team all-district and all-state honors.
