Led team to a 17-3 record as a senior as he was named the Classic Suburban Conference Player of the Year and the Gatorade Player of the Year in Minnesota... Also earned all-metro and all-state accolades... Hit .450 with five homers and 24 RBI as a senior, while he was a perfect 7-0 with a 0.49 ERA in 42.1 innings on the mound... Was drafted in the 37th round of the 2011 MLB Draft by Boston... Also a standout in the classroom, earning academic letters and being named to the "A" Honor Roll.
