CLOUD COUNTY CC: Two-year letterwinner in track and field... All-American in the 800 as a sophomore with a season-best 1:53.9... Ran a season-best 1:56.1 in the 800 meters as a freshman... Part of a 4x800 relay team that took fifth in the nation with a school-record time of 7:44...Member of the 4x400 meter relay team that ran a 3:14 to set a school record and placed second in the nation...Finished fifth in the nation in the pentathlon and the decathlon.
BENNINGTON HS: Four-year letterwinner in track and field...State champion in the 800 with a 1:59.1 as a senior... Named team MVP in 1998 and 1999... Placed second in the 400 meters at the state championships as a junior... Also lettered three years in football and two in basketball.
