MARYSVILLE HS: Four-year letterwinner in track and was named the state female track and field athlete of the year as a senior... Registered the second-best javelin throw in the United States for 2001 with a toss of 174-0... In 1999-2000, she competed at the NACAC Athletic Championships in Monterrey, Mexico, where she was the NACAC International Javelin Champion and threw an American Junior record and career-best 174-6, breaking the old record of 174-2 which was set at the Olympic Trials the year before... Javelin record holder at the 2001 Golden West Championships... As a senior she was ranked the No. 1 high school javelin track athlete by Track and Field News and was also a javelin All-American by the publication... Won the javelin state title in 2001 with a throw of 162-11... Two-time Kansas Relays Champion in the javelin with a state record of 174-4... Member of the state record-holding (47.71) 4x100 relay team... Helped team to two 4A state championships, two regional titles and one league crown... Three-time league, regional and state champion in the javelin... Four-year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball.. .Is a member of the Kansas State women's basketball team.
